eCommerce Business Analyst
OPPORTUNITY

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES
Candidates will be responsible for interacting with a variety of business users and technical staff as a cross-functional liaison to understand client issues and suggest innovative eCommerce/eBusiness solutions. Initiate, facilitate and participate in fact-finding, green-field discussions and implementation planning meetings. Analyze business problems and processes, and work with business subject matter experts to define business requirements, and then design solutions that leverage technology to provide marketing differentiation, efficiency improvements and a better user experience for end users. This position's responsibilities also include:
- Produce functional specifications and use cases, and work with architects and project managers to develop implementation estimates and schedules.
- Perform analysis on the technical viability of requirements and will suggest corrective actions for solution deficiencies.
- Analyze technical interfaces to internal systems and external service providers and document the integration requirements.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field and 5 years of progressively responsible eBusiness analysis experience.
- Business analysis best practices experience, and e-commerce application development experience.
- Web-based technologies including Java, J2EE, Oracle, SOA, and XML.
- Agile methodologies, MS Project as well as experience working with at least one of the following: ATG Commerce, IBM WebSphere Commerce, or Endeca.
- Experience writing detailed eCommerce requirements specifications and product backlog documents as well as experience supporting the creating of web solution design documents.
- Creating UML, ERDs, use cases, and wireframes of web user experiences.
- Offshore/onshore development project execution framework.
