The Dynamo Users Group Announces Extensive Improvements to
the Organization's Flagship Web Site www.DynamoUsersGroup.org
Vienna,
VA - September 18, 2001 - McFadyen Consulting, founder and
sponsor of the Dynamo Users Group (DUG), announced extensive
enhancements to the group's web site located at www.DynamoUsersGroup.org.
New features include a message board with post and response
capability. Five message board forums, DAS Forum, DCS Forum,
DPS Forum, DSS Forum and a General Dynamo Forum, currently
exist for technical posts. Other enhancements include aggregated
news related to ATG, ATG clients and partners, and Dynamo
product developments, and a real-time ATG stock ticker. The
DUG web site currently has over 1500 registered members.
"The
DUG website is the central gathering point for the Dynamo
user community," explained Tom McFadyen, President, McFadyen
Consulting, "Creating and managing the DUG site is an
honor for McFadyen Consulting. We see it as a way to demonstrate
the strength of Dynamo as an eBusiness platform and to interact
closely with fellow members of our user community."
Along
with the new additions to functionality, www.DynamoUsersGroup.org continues to showcase cutting-edge case studies, allowing
users to see how others are creatively applying the Dynamo
platform. The Resource section remains as a compilation of
periodicals, books, videos, white papers, and web links that
contain technical information relevant to those working with
Dynamo. The Events page contains industry events and events
directly designed for users of the Dynamo platform. In many
cases users can register for events directly from www.DynamoUsersGroup.org.
Since
it's conception in early 2000, the Dynamo Users Group (DUG)
organization and web site have provided an unbiased forum
for the exchange of information and ideas for the ATG Dynamo
user community. A primary part of the overall mission of DUG
is "to bring together and make available valuable resources
from Dynamo experts, end-users, and ATG which enable the entire
community to get the most from their IT investments."
This mission is carried out via regional educational seminars
and online at www.DynamoUsersGroup.org.
Regional events focus on the business applications of Dynamo,
pulling together industry experts as speakers and showcasing
case studies to demonstrate how others have experienced measurable
business success through the use of ATG's Dynamo. Cities including
Washington, D.C., New York City, Minneapolis, and San Francisco
currently have active DUG chapters that hold events on a regular
basis. www.DynamoUsersGroup.org serves as the central point for all DUG chapters and users
worldwide. The site serves as showcase for the newest product
features of ATG's Dynamo Product Suite.
