Mid-Atlantic Dynamo Users Group (DUG) Announces Attendance of Over 100 for the Organization's Inaugural Event
Leaders in eBusiness Show in Force to Support and Participate in the First Quarterly Meeting of the Mid-Atlantic Dynamo Users Group Sponsored by McFadyen Consulting

McFadyen Consulting, eBusiness integrators and sponsors of the Mid-Atlantic Dynamo Users Group (DUG), announced an attendance of more than 100 people to the group's first quarterly meeting at the Ritz Carlton in Tysons Corner, VA. Art Technology Group's (ATG) Dynamo is an award-winning software platform that provides the tools to build and deploy personalized, scalable, customer-driven web sites. DUG has been designed to facilitate the development of community among Dynamo users.

An impressive list of speakers shared their expertise and industry experience to make the DUG event entitled "Emerging Trends in Web Personalization" a valuable investment of time for all who attended. The morning began with a presentation by Tom McFadyen, President of McFadyen Consulting, entitled "Web Personalization: The Key to ICRM", ATG followed with "Scenario-Based Web Personalization", Interwoven showcased "New Technologies in Web Content Management", Information Architects presented "Aggregation and Syndication of Web Content", and McFadyen Consulting wrapped up the day by sharing their experiences on a large-scale Dynamo implementation. A networking breakfast and luncheon allowed interaction between Dynamo users, ATG representatives, and technology providers.

"As leaders in Dynamo integration, we started the Dynamo Users Group as an open forum for the Dynamo community. By sharing resources, success stories, and evolving technologies, organizations can leverage this great eBusiness platform to maximize their online customer relationships" explained Tom McFadyen.

DUG has upcoming quarterly meetings scheduled for Washington, DC in November and New York on October 11 at The Plaza Hotel. Meetings include customer case studies, "Ask the Architect" discussions, presentations by complementary software vendors, implementation success stories, and product futures by ATG. To register go to www.DynamoUsersGroup.org/briefing.

In addition to quarterly meetings, a new web Dynamo-driven site is being launched by DUG (www.DynamoUsersGroup.org). The site will focus on Dynamo-related topics such as: Dynamo Resources (a guide to links, books and articles), News, Events, FAQs (frequently asked questions answered by ATG certified Dynamo experts), Case Studies (success stories from fellow Dynamo users), and other enhancements.
