McFadyen Consulting Announces Agenda for the Dynamo Users
Group (DUG) Meeting in New York City
A New Dynamo User
Group Will Meet at the Plaza Hotel in New York on October
11, 2000

28, 2000 - McFadyen Consulting, eBusiness integrators, today
announced the agenda for the upcoming DUG meeting in New York
City. Art Technology Group's (ATG) Dynamo is an award-winning
software platform that provides the tools to build and deploy
personalized, scalable, customer-driven web sites. DUG will
facilitate the development of community among Dynamo users.
McFadyen Consulting,
sponsor of DUG, has recruited the participation of an impressive
list of speakers to share expertise and industry experience.
The DUG event, entitled "Emerging Trends in Web Personalization",
has been designed to be an educational experience for all
who attend. Presentations will include "Scenario-Based
Web Personalization" by ATG, "New Technologies in
Web Content Management" by Interwoven, "Aggregation
and Syndication of Web Content" by Information Architects,
and McFadyen Consulting will share their experiences on a
large-scale Dynamo implementation.
DUG New York will be
held at the Plaza Hotel on October 11, 2000 from 8:00 a.m.-12:00
p.m. The event, which is complimentary, will begin with a
networking breakfast. Event information and registration

Dynamo Users Group meeting was held in Washington, D.C. on
August 30, 2000. More than 100 people attended the inaugural
event which covered similar topics to the New York DUG venue.
DUG will meet quarterly in each city.

meetings, a new web site has been launched by DUG (www.DynamoUsersGroup.org).
The site will focus on Dynamo-related topics such as: Dynamo
Resources (a guide to links, books and articles), Message
Board (an open, interactive discussion forum), News (articles
about industry events), FAQs (frequently asked questions answered
by ATG certified Dynamo experts), and Case Studies (success
stories from fellow Dynamo users).
